The more I think about it the more I'm sure it'll be nearly impossible
to do completely automatically.  You MIGHT be able to create a filter
using the Windows Media SDK that recognizes when they go to commerical,
but you'd have to know how to parse through the stream - and they'd have
to agree to send a very specific commerical signal.

Using the master control board (as I suggested before) they should be
able to automate this themselves.  There would be one live feed (the
show) and two commerical feeds (one for broadcast and one for web).
They should be able to automate both the commercial feeds and send each
to a different consumer (machine).

This is a common feature on most boards/equipment nowadays.  For example
when TV networks broadcast a show they simply give affiliates time codes
for number and diration of commercial breaks.  The affiliates set up
tapes to fill each "hole" that are triggered automatically.

That's why I see a different set of commericals during "Farscape" in
Boston than somebody in New York sees.

That same system should be able to handle what you need.
