if you have installed it seamlessly 10 times before, doesnt that tell you that it maybe something that you are doing or that you have done or changed to your comp? 99% of the time it's user error. and given that it has worked before, umm, well I guess its not the product that is broken.
whenever i have come up with any problems with dwmx it has been the result of the IIS not dwmx or coldfusion. In which case i have found the best and quickest answer was to uninstall IIS and reinstall and its fine. if its that big a deal then just reinstall windows & I bet it will be fine. I reinstall windows every few months just too keep my machine fresh and its not that big a deal to do. :) dave ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Kear" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, March 09, 2003 10:53 AM Subject: RE: CFMX Stand alone web server problem now > Well Todd, after all this time, and losing a weekend, I'm more than a > little annoyed at ColdFusion.
