It's hardware, guy. Call Sony. Its not software related. CPU fan failing, power supply voltage has drifted out of tolerance...all sorts of things like that especially in Award Bioses from 97 on would fire off an alarm (in some instances, would play "Fur elise"). Sony has their own BIOS from memory and prolly has similar alarms. Call them.

There are some systems that do give off a siren sound as it is POSTing. Have you changed your cpu or memory recently?
