Dave, went to sleep before I got this last night. Was just trying to make the discussion a little more focussed on actual problem solving. A lot of people who obviously hadn't read the entire thread were making rather personal remarks.
I know what you mean about people being defensive as I have done time as tech support at various levels ranging from AOL newbies to people writing microscope drivers for an image processing software. Not to mention math tutor. What I like about it is the possiblities it has for publishing data... I run a website about a rare disease and most of the doctors who encounter it have never heard of it. We have a patient registry and I am looking forward to publishing anonymous data, (anonymous as the actual aswers are treated as confidential). In other words, I would like to have a page along the lines of; "Of (number) patients registered (number) are in (age range). (number) reort no UTI's.... etc Has a lot of possibilities. Have a nice day :) Dana Dave Lyons writes: > Dana, I'm right there with ya as a cf newbie:) > however I did asp before and I spent A LOT of time on the MM boards helping > people when I could, you know try to give back as those who have given too > me. > And this is something I saw all the time & I mean ALL the time. > And like you I don't pretend to know the answer either.
