Yeah Shawn, FB has come a ways since FB2, it's a whole lot more structured and efficient. But I confess that I fall into your "second group", a person who learned HTML first and slowly got into programming. I'd like to think I've gotten pretty good at it, but there's always much to learn.
It's encouraging to hear you say that you're thinking of giving Fusebox another look. It is quite easy to use CFC's as part of your Model in a Fusebox MVC application. But if you want a fully CFC-based system, Mach-II might be more your speed. Also, it's not only about whether FB gives you something that you couldn't already do in another way, because in programming, there's always 50 different ways that you could do something. It's about the fact that you can build an app in Fusebox, and then 6 months later a total stranger could pick up your code and know instantly what you did and why, instead of having to study your "personal" method and figure it out. That's a pretty nice benefit, especially on team projects or where long-term maintenance is a factor. Anyway, thanks for your comments.
