Hmmm..I did see 'marketing' to ASP and PHP programmers in the Dreamweaver feature list though:
ASP.NET Form Control Objects Use new ASP.NET objects and property inspectors to build and manipulate ASP.NET web forms. New Reference Content The Dreamweaver MX 2004 reference panel includes updated O'Reilly content on SQL, ASP.NET, and PHP. New PHP Server Behaviors New behaviors include Master-Detail Page Set and User Authentication I can understand why us CF Coders feel left out in the cold. "Increased Support for Today's Technologies" obviously does not apply to CF... Does this mean that Macromedia's marketing department does not consider CFMX a part of "Today's Technologies"... Does the lack of effort to reach out to CF Coders imply that as far as Macromedia's marketing department is concerned that CFML is "Yesterday's Technologies"?? Or is it that there simply aren't any CF Specific enhancements to the new version of Dreamweaver? Either answer isn't very positive for CF Programmers, and feeds the impression and gives ammo to detractors that say Macromedia isn't serious about pushing CFML or supporting it. -Angel ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm?link=t:4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm?link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4 Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm
