Sadly, I think you are.  The market just has too much momentum behind
IE.  Grandma isn't going to switch browsers, and neither is the boss,
Mrs. McGillicuddy down the street etc.  People will use what Microsoft
provides for free, or what comes installed on the computer when they get
it from Dell, or what the IT dept finds is easiest to support while
covering their backsides at the same time.  I'd love to see a competitor
rise up but I don't think it will happen.
