URLEncodes all CFHTTPPARAM values and names. So when I send cookies, they
get URLEncoded and the other server (which is not CF), doesn't understand
them.
I have asked about this earlier on the list, and received no response. It
seems there are quite a few threads on this, with macromedia not doing
anything to fix this.

Russ
I use cfhttp extensively.
Periodically, there have been bugs, but most do get resolved.
What, specifically, is broken with cfhttp in CFMX 6.1?
I know of a few issues with BD cfhttp, but they are minor.
I have not found any cfhttp problems with either BD or CFMX that have
made me even consider writing custom Java or dropping back to pro MX
versions.
What have you found that you can't work around?
