We're running CF Server V4.0.0.0 on Windows NT Server 4.0. Recently, it was
discovered that the cfserver.exe process was not releasing memory when it was done
with it. I checked Macromedia's site for info and found a TechNote (17517) that had
what I thought was info I could use. I updated from MDAC 2.1 to 2.8, the first
suggestion in their list, but the "leak" is still there. Aside from having a CF
programming guru come and look at the code, or from upgrading to V4.5 (we're not
prepared to buy the latest version, only go to the latest free upgrade), does anyone
have any ideas as to what we can do to fix this leak? I've found conflicting info on
the web about this, with some people saying CF is the cause of the leak, and others
saying it's not.
