Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way, but I vote to take this topic somewhere else. Macromedia Forums is usually the best place to have the "I hate ColdFusion" debates.
I, personally, stopped using the forums mainly because of these religious wars. We all know CF rocks, but it's not the be-all-end-all of web app development. Also, I consider this list a great resource for learning and sharing CF, and web, techniques. There has been nothing beneficial from this thread. It has only served to waste my valuable time when I could be bashing .NET on another mailing list.
