Depends on the rules I guess... some rules do indeed produce
"flexibility" when compared to other things... Take Fusebox 4.1 as an
example: the "rules" of fusebox say that queries and display code must
be in separate templates (which are then included via its config
dialect). This is indeed _more_ flexible than a page with several
queries and a bunch of display logic on it, since the query templates
and potentially the display templates can then be reused in other
places, independant of the relationship between them. Is the XML more
flexible than CF configuration? Nope. Although they did provide a
method of integrating your own tags into the XML config, which if you
use it then makes the XML config _equally_ as flexible as CF
configuration.
