That was not my point. The point was it seems Adobe are hell bent on
providing the world with these buzz apps (Flex, Apollo) when, personally I
think they could be fixing flaws/bugs in CF/Jrun to make it a better product
and not just adding "Flex support"

Flex has nothing to do with .NET.  In fact, you can quite happily run 
Flex apps in a .NET world.
