Well, they are perfectly understandable. Personally, though, I don't feel a
need to have Adobe remove features from the product, even if I don't use
them myself, unless it would provide a significant reduction in cost. Just
because I don't use Access or ODBC doesn't mean they aren't useful to
someone, and it's easy enough for me to turn them off.

I would generally recommend that you not read too much into email, because
it doesn't convey sarcasm very well. At least, that approach has worked for
me.
