If you're going to send out a whole bunch of emails like that you should make sure you let your hosting company know you are planning to do it.
There are blacklist servers that detect large amounts of email coming from domains. If they detect your domain suddenly sending a LOT more email than it has in the past, it could have your entire server blacklisted, which would prevent not only you getting email through, but also anyone else on that box. If you dont keep them in the loop, you could find yourself dumped off the server without warning. Most hosting companies dont tolerate spamming at all. Even if they dont really care themselves, the blacklist servers keep their attitude focussed.
