Here's a question, however...since IIS 5 can't use SSL with host headers,
which are necessary for me as I host multiple sites on a single IP, will a
self-signed cert be of any more use than a purchased cert?

I've already purchased and installed a cert for a single domain, but it's
not working because of the IIS 5 / SSL / Host Header issue...
