So, then, what you're saying is there's no way to accomplish what I'm trying to do...host multiple domains via host headers and use SSL for only 1 more more sites...right?
If so, how do hosting companies deal with securing some sites on a server, but not others? The only solution I see at this point is to have a separate IP and hardware/software server for every domain that needs SSL! Windows Server 2003 allows you to use host headers to direct requests to virtual servers within a single domain, sharing a single wildcard certificate.
