Can you explain a little more?

You're saying you direct all the multiple websites hosted on an IIS server
via host headers
and secure one site and redirect them all to (or through that site?)

Sorry...I'm sure I'm not understanding...

Man...how can something that I thought would be so simple turn out to be so
complicated. :oP

Rick

Well we get around that problem by redirecting everyone to a single
secure.x.com.

That way, single domain everyone is secure.

Hi, Neil...thanks for the offer!
If I get stuck, I'll take you up on it!

Here's a question, however...since IIS 5 can't use SSL with host headers,
which are necessary for me as I host multiple sites on a single IP, will a
self-signed cert be of any more use than a purchased cert?

I've already purchased and installed a cert for a single domain, but it's
not working because of the IIS 5 / SSL / Host Header issue...

Rick
