Benign,

Personally I see Flex Development as a way to develop component
applications for use within a site/application, not as a way of
developing of developing an entire site/application. This isn't to say
that it's not possible to do so, just not the wisest thing to do
overall. Part of the huge compaint of Flash sites in the past is that
the entire site is Flash, and from a usability standpoint a lot of flash
was being used just to be 'flashy' rather than creating efficient,
dynamic applications. Flex has made it easier for developers (aka
non-designers) to develop Flash applications, which can be used as
'components' (pods?) within a page/site. I see well developed sites as a
combination of CF, AJAX, and Flex/Flash.
