The problem here is the amount of frameworks/flavours of Ajax out there. The
only way you will be sure to keep everyone happy is to include them all :-)

Sorry, I can't answer that question with any details or specifics. We have
said that the company realizes the value of AJAX (Spry is proof of that),
and we have said that we see the value in ColdFusion simplifying AJAX use
(as it does other client technologies), and we've also said that we are
considering some AJAX support in "Scorpio" and are looking at what that
support could/should be ... but nothing definite or specific. Yet.

Just Ben; will CF8 have a more serious look at AJAX? I know you have big
plans about CF/FLEX compatibility and they work great together now (new
update for CF7 really did help)but as you know many people like AJAX too and
you can read everywhere about it's becoming a part of Rich Internet
Application development and I really hope next version of CF has more about
AJAX.
I know most of the ideas about the future of CF are confidential but tell us
as much as you can please.
