On a side note, I would hope that you could take advantage of the features of flash to handle has much processing as possible. Offloading some of the smallest tasks from the backend to the client side can greatly reduce the overhead that's put on the server.

(ii)Need to purchase multiple Coldfusion licenses in the event that multiple dedicated servers are needed and ASP.NET does not require purchase of separate licenses on servers? I realise that will depend on many variables, however any feedback on above issues will be much appreciated.
