But you said you threw it away. So what are you doing to run IE 7? You
couldn't even run IE7 successfully in Vista? Wow, it really must suck, then.
I regret doubting you for a second.

When you do something on your Mac that requires administrative credentials,
it doesn't automatically go ahead and do it, right? It asks you first.
That's what Vista does now. I don't see how that cripples anything. Running
as a non-administrative user is how it should work.

And, you know, if UAC is too much of a pain for you to deal with, you can
turn it off. I think that's a terrible idea, but the option does exist.

And, if you're just running IE7, you wouldn't even see UAC prompts, because
browsing is an end-user activity.

For a Mac user who switched, like, over two years ago, you spend an
inordinate amount of time complaining about your Windows problems. But
whatever floats your boat, I guess.

Windows' crappy browser is a Windows app. So it appears that my assumption
was correct.

And even if a browser was not, in fact, an application, I think it's a fair
assumption that people buy Windows to run Windows apps. Presumably, when you
saw me passed out in a hotel lobby, you assumed I'd been drinking, right?
But for all you know, I have an inhuman tolerance for alcohol but was bopped
on the head by an alien. And yet, you just jumped right to the assumption
I'd been drinking.
