I think a lot of us have run into too many people that have that certification 
but are really terrible coders to really put much regard on it. One of the most 
incompetent coders I've ever run into had it which kind of convinced me not to 
bother updating mine when CFMX came out. ;-) Knowing the syntax of a language 
really doesn't say much about your ability to properly code a secure, efficient 
well-constructed application. A peer review would indeed probably be more 
useful but also a lot more difficult to have any kind of really meaningful 
standard.
