Well, what he said, and as an addendum: sometimes you'll need to look up the specifics of the driver-- pass custom options and whatnot. If you're lucky there are some specs available, and you can look 'em up. Checking DB logs and stuff (if there are any available) sometimes help track oddities down too... ODBC is... well, I like to avoid it these days, so nothing's coming to mind. If it verifies, I'd say you're close. Maybe. :-) :Denny -- "well hello" -Wienerschnitzel commercial ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;192386516;25150098;k Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:304569 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
