to elaborate on my previous point the docs say that when cfspreadsheet is used 
it searches for an installation of OpenOffice first and if so it uses it 
libraries. 

i dont have an installation of OpenOffice at present but also havent noticed 
any limitations in cfspreadsheet, therefore would there be different any 
difference if it was installed?
