I am totally in agreement with this - it really annoys me when you get 20-30
"I'm on holiday" messages within the first hour of a day

If I had more time I would have unsubscribed that guy myself today, but I
think this is MUCH more effective - as long as it's in the notes when people
subscribe, they can't claim ignorance

I can understand if people forget they're in a small list, but CF-Talk has a
huge amount of traffic - only the terminally stupid or forgetful won't
remember that they're "Out Of Office" message will hit 300 times a day...
