  Hey, I'll but in here with one comment.
  How would he know the developer?  He probably only has contact info for 
the name of the person on the account.  My client owns a site, and they 
host it.  While the hosting partner is probably aware that I (or at least 
someone with my skills) must exist in the backend, they probably don't know 
how to contact me.
