Coldfusion costs money to get into. You either have to buy the server
software or pay an ISP for space. There are no "free" CF options that I
know of. Yes you can download a trial version of it. But what do you do
after that? You pay for it.

PHP however is free to download and develop on. ASP is free to develop
with as long as you have access to a Windows box (which 90% of the world
does). If there were a free "developers" version of CF (and if there
is then i've never seen it), the numbers might be more noticable to your
bonehead boss. Frontpage. *gag* The micro$oft marketing machine is a
beautiful thing though. Gotta give them credit for that.
