that is funny...

kinda reminds me of some other person I knew that was so into their
variation of programming that they wanted to do away with the database and
have everything in flat XML files... seems nice at first glance... til you
realize the complexity within a database we all take for granted...

guess my experiences say this: never work a job that you hate... If your
boss is an idiot, you will hate your job. Management moves slowly and is far
less likely to leave than staff... If people don't want to invest the
dollars in projects, the clients will wakeup someday... well maybe when one
of us pitch them and take the client away.. In today's business climate,
you have to deliver more for less in most circumstances.. You have to prove
value and be able to really figure out a path to ROI on a project... if you
fail to do this in your business now, you are lucky... In the future you
will be doing something else....

flat sites are dead... Brochureware is 1997 era.. Frontpage is fine for
Brochureware... Frontpage's market share and position has eroded
considerably.

Tough market, but you might want to start looking like Doug said...

The higher up is a tight a#$% and doesnt want to spend the money on top of
the line development software. I use to work for someone like that and they
just happened to use FP also arghhhh!!!! Wanted me to parse html into excel
and crap like that using VB plugs etc. I would look around for a better
J.O.B
