Have any of you guys run across this in your event logs on a Win2k Server running CF 5 ...
Event Type: Error Event Source: Allaire AllaireMIB Event Category: None Event ID: 3 Date: 11/26/2001 Time: 2:36:58 PM User: N/A Computer: <servername> Description: Failure to connect to url: http://<servername>/cfide/mib/getmetricdataXML.cfm. I also get one for Failure to connect to url: http://<servername>/cfide/mib/serverinfo.cfm. ------------------------------------ Then these errors are followed by: Event Type: Information Event Source: Allaire AllaireMIB Event Category: None Event ID: 7 Date: 1/9/2002 Time: 2:46:00 PM User: N/A Computer: <servername> Description: A server abnormal state trap has been generated. The server (<IP ADDRESS> [<servername>]) state is 2. ----------------- I found this in the knowledgebase: "When using IIS security, enabling the MIB agent to work properly requires anonymous file access be given to getmetricdataXML.cfm and serverinfo.cfm. These files are located in the <docroot>\cfide\mib\ directory." And I followed its advice, but I still get the errors in the event log. Puzzled as to what to do with it and prevent it from happening. Any clues? ----------------------------------------------------- Erika L.
