Does anyone have any really useful experience with the monitoring service? Apart from the allairemib 404 errors, I am having grave problems with the monitoring service interfering with the web services on my machine. For example, if I stop the Apache service, the monitoring service immediately restarts it! And there does not appear to be any way to turn off this behaviour, apart from not installing or disabling the monitoring service.
