Hmm, ok so where is it saving the files to if you leave that checkbox *unchecked* and hit save. In the little playing I've done, when having VSS defined as the remote site and I open a file straight from the VSS remote site, modify it and hit save it still saves it to VSS whether I have that little checkbox checked or not. That's what made me think that "upload" checkbox must be indicating some other server.
