Michael - please don't kick me for this one, even though it's not code related.
I think the whole Adobe/Macromedia Lawsuit is just retarded. I don't see how one softwaremaker can put a patent on certain design features of their user interface. It's sort of like putting a patent on the spedometer and odometer on an automobile. It would be like Chevy suing Ford b/c Ford's spedometer and odometer looks to similar to Chevy's. Just my honest opinion. -Derrick Rapley -----Original Message----- From: Dave Watts [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, June 18, 2002 3:02 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: Which to buy > Is there a reason why when upgrading or downgrading, > whichever you wish to think of it, that CF Studio 5 > could not still be used on a machine with the mx > version? No, they all work well enough together on my machine. I've got Dreamweaver MX, Homesite+, and CF Studio 5. When you buy Dreamweaver MX, you get Homesite+ as a separate installer, and you can simply not install it if you have CF Studio 5 if you choose. Homesite+ doesn't seem to offer any significant advantages over CF Studio 5, and as others have pointed out, the customization functionality has been limited as a result of the Adobe lawsuit.
