I don't mind if http://miramar.ac3.com.au/regencyhouse/ doesn't work anymore but I really need to get http://regencyhouse.peoplenews.com to work?
I've been pushing flash remoting to our UK offices and the site has to be live by this evening, panic!

I hope that I've understood what you're saying.
Flash Remoting's security is so specific that http://localhost:8500/ and http://127.0.0.1:8500/ are regarded as different domains and therefore will not work.

The first URL is just where the site sits on our hosting box, all sites
will then have DNS set up to point to the relevant page eg
_www.somedomain.com <http://www.somedomain.com/>_ will point to _http://miramar.ac3.com.au/somedomain.com/
_SURELY flash remoting must still work when DNS for the site url is set up,
otherwise it would be useless?! The only url I wish to work is
_http://regencyhouse.peoplenews.com <http://regencyhouse.peoplenews.com/>_ but I'm not sure what I need to change
to get it working?
Curiously I get the following error when I try to browse to the component
_http://miramar.ac3.com.au/regencyhouse/components/vote.cfc_ (after I logon to the component administrator?)
"*Component not found
*The component definition file for component 'regencyhouse.components.vote' cannot be found on this server."
Starting to panic! :-[]

Flash Remoting has security built into it that will not allow you to call a gateway from a url that differs to the one that the Flash movie is being hosted on.

Hi All, set up a site on our live server that uses a flash remoting vote:
http://miramar.ac3.com.au/regencyhouse/ (feel free to play :-)
This works fine, but when I test the same site under the url that points to exactly the same place I get the following error:
http://regencyhouse.peoplenews.com <http://regencyhouse.peoplenews.com/>
Sure its a simple fix but, err.. I haven't discovered it yet! :-(
Love some help, cheers Craig
