You could prolly reduce a bit of your code that you've got there to something like this, by eliminating the setDefaultGatewayURL method:

Andrew is saying that the gateway has to be pointing at
http://regencyhouse.peoplenews.com NOT localhost.
Localhost is considered a different domain by Flash, and you can't access
outside of a domain outside where the Flash file is currently residing.
Make more sense?
