Whats the datatype in of the column you store it in?
Is it varchar? If so, you might want to try NVARCHAR

I have decided that the easiest way to do the site is to store the text
in
separate tables,
and call it based on the language:

SELECT * FROM #session.lang# WHERE page = '#url.cmd#'

the problem is the encoding. Not speaking Japanese myself I copied some
text
from
another .jp site. Using UTF-8 encoding, the text that I paste displays
in
the text box,
as it does on the original site. I then submit the form, to store the
text
in the database.
When I return the text from the database to the page, it is not
displaying
as it originally
was.

Is this a coding/CFMX/mySQL error?
Do I have to upgrade to mySQL 4.x?

Thanks
Ricardo
