Kinda getting out of my depth here but if you reverted to: # 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost 127.0.0.1 blacksheep localhost.localdomain localhost
and them used blacksheep or 127.0.0.1 in both your user table and DSN config (in the cfadmin), it might work in place of localhost. Could be worth checking out. However the hosts file seems to really want that first line in there (according to that text at the top) so I'd keep it in to save you future hassles with other apps.
