Tell them the problems they are seeing are fixed in 6.1 and it's a free upgrade. Also tell them macromedia.com was running 6.1 at launch and is extremely stable under very high load (up to 20,000 concurrent sessions).
CFMX6.1 also handles compilation in a completely different way so you don't need to worry about that directory full of .class files!
