Hey Mark,

Its good to know your managers have a better technical understanding about CFMX issues
than you do, so why have they hired you :-)
Same thing happened here, but we won finally. Even though alot of the behind the
scenes stuff has been totally redone, it really is just a service pack release (even
though you get some nice extra features such as super.init() in components !!).

One thing you need to be aware of with CFMX 6.1, the 3.2 Data Direct JDBC drivers have
a bug in them. I've been in contact with the guys from macromedia, and they are
working to get this sorted out.

[Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]No more data available to read.

Knowing you are an oracle user too, I thought I'd highlight this for you. We are
experiencing this with Oracle 8.1.7 on an intermitted basis, and can be fixed by
downgrading to the 3.1 driver.

Other than that, all is fine and dandy on CFMX6.1 :-)

Cheers,
Steve
