Geeez!

You're like the Macromedia fixture for ANZ! ... I must say, i'm a little sad to see you depart the Macromedia ANZ team.

I dunno, since i first got my hands dirty with CF you've been the face to Macromedia in many ways, and through your efforts you've helped in many ways shape my Macromedia based career (helping me with Flash Com, betas, work recommendations etc)? (if i actually have one that is hehee). So yeah man, your leaving MM won't go unnoticed and its a disapointing day for Macromedia product holders.

I hope you plan to still be involved in the MM scene in some way, as despite you're ability to rocket off into another world of crazy ideas (which we all liked, despite our minor "oh here we go again, robins propellas is spinning") you did at many times make tonnes of sense.

I will admit personally, that over the past 3 months I've been getting really annoyed with Macromedia in general (ie the delusional bubble has burst) and news like this just re-inforces my beliefs that i dunno, Macromedia seems a little too "corporate" for my taste.

Anyway, hope you're next role will be as successful as this one, and we at TQ thank you for your contribution to all our non-Macromedia / Macromedia needs and if there is anything I/We can do in anyway, let us know.

Hello everyone,

This is a quick announcement to let you know that as of last Wednesday I am
no longer an employee of Macromedia, due to a realignment of resources
within the Macromedia ANZ team.

It's been a unique opportunity and privilege to meet with so many of you in
my three and a half years at Macromedia, It's given me a fantastic birds-eye
view of the ANZ development community, and I have to tell you (don't forget
this) it's world class and friendly to boot (for instance, hands up all the
international cfaussiers who prefer it to the other ColdFusion lists). Take
a bow!

I'm having a little break, but you can expect to see me back in the scene
(albeit a bit less mobile) sometime soon. If anyone wants to catch up my
contact details are at the bottom of this email.
