I can see the Coldfusion role changing away from rendering pages.

 

The new range of Flex apps suggests this shift in coldfusion’s role.

 

Why create dynamic html pages when the data can be provided to a flex application?

This is a nonsense statement. You cannot justify saying this.

Then again everyone said that about ColdFusion when MM bought Allaire (all 4
versions of ColdFusion ago)
