Sorry for replying to this 6 days late. I was given
permission by Macromedia to let folks know that if you duplicate a CFC in
blackstone, you now get an error. Which is better than the old behaviour of
creating something that wasn't a real CFC. The same fix was done for WDDX calls
on CFCs.

Subject: RE: [CFCDev] DAO Question for Joe RinehartI would assume the only way to pass by value is to use the Duplicate() function. However, you can't duplicate components directly. I don't know if Blackstone changes this behavior.M!ke

Subject: RE: [CFCDev] DAO Question for Joe Rinehart>So this is a case where passing in a snapshot/instance of the bean itself and returning it out is a more suited solutionThat's interesting. I thought CFMX *only* passes objects (cfc instances) by reference and that it is not possible to do so by value. Am I incorrect in that? And does that change in Blackstone?Jim McMullen
