That was one of the beauties of Newsgroups! You could filter threads much
easier than you can discussion lists. It isn't always the best technology or
business that takes the other one out. Sometimes the more technical best
practices are not the ones that win out. Yet... it's still a great forum in
spite of those of us who don't make things fun. You should try not reading
the posts if you don't find them fun. It's an amazing way to deal with it!

* You may have the point of if CF is better than X. (There are always new
comers.) So if you would volunteer to create some articles on this over and
over topics... me thinks Ray would review your content and approve it if it
is good enough to post on his site. Then in the threads we could simply post
the URL to the information. (Will you stand up and take the "Helm" to see
that is put online?)

Subject: RE: [CFCDev] Witnessed the power of CF

Have some people gone off their meds in the last week? First the cfsqltool
guy gets beat up, then we have to have a lengthy discussion about credit and
running a business, and now we have to rehash for the umpteenth time whether
CF is easier/better than language X? FWIW, this is not my idea of fun, nor
is it helpful.
