Reactor is designed to be a production-level framework. Joe has said several times that Arf! is designed more for prototyping and small scale systems. > What do people recommend? I'm running a talk about ORM frameworks around various user groups and will be giving that talk at cf.Objective() (highly recommended conference!) and CFUNITED. Of the four (Arf!, objectBreeze, Transfer and Reactor), I find Arf! and Reactor easiest to use but each framework has its own Unique Selling Points. My personal preference for most new apps I'll be building would be: - Model-Glue - for presentation / event wiring - ColdSpring - for model management - Reactor - for persistence That said, I use Mach II at work for most stuff and Fusebox 4.1 for a lot of non-work stuff. And Fusebox 5 is just starting design / development... Also I've used Arf! for a small production app (non-work). So, despite my personal preferences, I tend to use a variety of frameworks for different projects... -- Sean A Corfield -- http://corfield.org/ Got frameworks?
