I just sent the first prototype of the solution. All the magic happens inside the `CHECK_CXX_SOURCE_RUNS` call. There is still one thing to do: currently, the program is hard-coded to check for version 4.7.1. We should either get it from the `find_package` call or remove the minimum version from the `find_package` call and rely only on the program. I'm not a big fan of the latter.
