Just to follow up...
Randy went through his bug list and moved some bugs between "1.0" and
"1.0 candidate". Basically, we agreed to be conservative about what
makes it onto the "1.0" list -- what bugs are *required* to ship a 1.0
server. Nice-to-haves will go in "1.0 candidate". Randy mentioned that
he'd be using these criteria:
- bugs that are problems for central workflows and/or problems that
we've seen users actually run into (not bugs that are theoretical
problems for edge cases)
- interop bugs that are problematic for iCal and Sunbird/Lightning users
(bugs that block basic usage in line with our scenarios -- not new
features like enterprise scheduling)
Sheila will be updating the work queue so that it includes these "server
1.0" bugs and is generally in sync with bugzilla.
Cheers,
Katie

We should fix this particular bug before releasing a 1.0 server -- put
it on the queue. I'm assuming we'll have a small set of similar bugs
that ought to be fixed for a 1.0 server, and I'm assuming that they are
almost all currently assigned to Randy with a target milestone of 1.0.
I'll review that list with Randy.

Katie

As Travis and I were reviewing his bugs and we came across this one
which relates to a feature heavily requested by people who are running
their own server. We thought it was worth a conversation on the list
to determine how we should prioritize these kinds of things in the 1.0
timeframe.

I would like to hear from people re thoughts on whether we should be
just punting all these types of bugs or whether we should be fixing
some of them. Should this bug go in the work queue?

Sheila
