One of the canceled shows that I really loved is Firefly ... which later on was made into a movie titled "Serenity".
I'm mentioning it here because in that world ... people talk in English and Chinese. Very similar to me speaking in Taglish (Filipino+English) and expects everyone to know what I'm talking about. Hahahahahaha. I believe that as language goes, there will eventually be a shift where Chinese words will integrate or merge with English. The Chinese has been trading with the world since time immemorial and all we have to do is wait. A good example are the following Filipino words that can trace its origins from the Chinese: English : Chinese tea : tsa-a Dumplings : siomai Mixed Vegetables : chopsuey If you would really think about it, I can't speak a whole complex sentence in pure tagalog.
