I strongly recommend you explore the J session manager a little (and the J documentation, labs, books, wiki, tutorials, archives, and language a lot). In the menu bar of the IJX window, select Edit>Configure. In the list in the panel on the left, click "Session". In the section entitled "Open Script Read Only State", select the second, "Scripts under ~install except those under ~temp or ~user". That's assuming you keep your personal scripts in ~temp or ~user. Otherwise, you might want to select the last option, "None - all scripts are opened editable". -Dan ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
