Alternate formula:
Bring car to competent speedo shop. Look for a place with a
"rolling road" test system where the car is run at speed and
tested.
My '64 has a combo GM never envisioned, a TH700R4 driving a
2.73 12 bolt and 16" tires. But after looking for a while I
found a good shop that would install proper speedo gears,
calibrate the speedo and certify the results.
