Believe me I have absolutley nothing against a crate 350. I have heard great
things about em and would definitly take one over rebuilding a 307 and having
no warranty. I was just saying, in my own opinion, the 307 isn't as bad of a
motor as some make it out to be. I am redoing a 69 Malibu and I plan on just
powerwashing and repainting the 307/powerglide combo. Maybe put some new
gaskets on it, but that's it. It ran fine when I took it out, so it's going
right back in. However, if it were to blow up, I would go get a crate 350
for it.
