I'd have to agree with that and add that the second worst motor was the 305
smogger...terrible valvetrain and low quality control throughout (like most
80's motors).
I had a 307 in my Chevelle (72 4 door) that ran for close to 300k with very
few problems. It's not a great build up motor, but very reliable on the whole.
